Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party President Abdul Aleem Khan has instructed his party leaders, Aun Chaudhry and Nauman Langrial, to resign from the federal cabinet, sources said.

Chaudhry has been serving as the adviser to the prime minister on sports and tourism, while Lagrial is a special assistant to the prime minister.

Both the IPP office-bearers were appointed in these positions before the formation of the party but continued to hold positions in the federal cabinet.

They recently joined the IPP after Jahangir Khan Tareen announced the launch of the party, with same old faces from the PTI
