Baloch Liberation Front commander Ali Nawaz Rind was killed in an internal conflict in the militant group, rports said on Sunday.

Rind was killed in a neigboring country under mysterious circumstances. However, the death is believed to be a result of in-fighting between the organisation’s splinter groups.

The internal wrangling among the factions began when separatist commander Gulzar Imam Shambay was arrested.

Rind belonged to Awaran in Balochistan and had been associated with the BLF since 2014.

Security forces have gained ground and momentum against terror outfits in Balochistan in recent months, and the pressure has led to killings of the commanders by the group’s own members.

Jamat ul Ahrar Commander Sarbakaf Mohmand was killed under similar circumstances a few days ago.
