On a humid day, many areas were left with no electricity as the K-Electric’s extra high-tension wire tripped on Saturday.

However, KE’s spokesman said that there was a disruption in the connection to NTDC, and limited power supply was affected in Karachi.

As many as 18 grid stations and 621 feeders were shut down due to the tripping in the extra high-tension wire.

The spokesman said that K-Electric has restored the affected grid and the management of K-Electric is in touch with NTDC.

The spokesman said the power supply was normal at the moment.

The power breakdown was reported in North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Surjani, Buffer Zone, Malir, Liaqtabad F.B Area, and Orangi town.
