Missing girl found dead in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth Nullah
A missing minor girl was found dead in a Nullah near Shafiq Colony in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth area on Friday, said the police.
“After the post-mortem, the cause of death will be determined whether the death was due to drowning or any other reason,” the police said in a statement.
The deceased went missing on May 30, after she was witnessed walking along with a seven year-old-boy, according to the family. The victim’s family alleged that the boy in his statement has said that he was given Rs50 by a man to bring the girl to him.
The family filed the missing report at the police station. The CCTV footage showed that a boy was holding the girl’s hand, the family added.
The victim’s family has demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators and to bring them to justice.
A similar case was reported in April when a missing minor girl was found dead in an underground water tank in the Sohrab Goth area. She was reported missing for three days.
