PTI chief Khan reacts to Jibran Nasir’s ‘abduction’
Lawyer Jibran Nasir’s “abduction” reinforces the fact that the country was headed to the Nazi Germany era post-1933, PTI chief Imran Khan alleged.
“Today the oppression and repression of all martial laws has been surpassed,” he tweeted on Friday while reacting to the lawyer’s detention.
Nasir was picked by at least 15 armed men when he was coming back home from dinner, his wife Mansha Pasha said in a video statement. Pasha, who is an actor, urged everyone to raise voice for her husband
“There’s a complete crackdown on PTI plus anyone who dares to criticise the blatant violations of all fundamental rights of our citizen,” said Khan.
A complaint was registered in the Clifton Police Station of Karachi against the “abduction” of Nasir only after his wife Pasha complained that the police were not accepting her application.
The case was registered under section 365 of kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine a person.
