Pakistan players including Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Usama Mir starred in the ongoing Vitality Blast.

Playing for Nottinghamshire Outlaws, Sheheen smashed a six to give his side their second victory in the competition.

Alex Hales played a crucial role up front with an unbeaten 65 runs. With his aggressive batting at the beginning, Hales ensured that his team stayed ahead of the required run rate.

The match concluded without any last-minute suspense, as Afridi hit two sixes off de Leede and Trevaskis in the final over, securing the win for Nottinghamshire.

Afridi’s quick cameo of 17 runs from 12 balls, including two sixes and a four, proved instrumental in the team’s triumph.

Usama Mir outshines Naseem Shah

In a thrilling match between Worcestershire Rapids and Leicestershire Foxes, Usama Mir had the last laugh with his exceptional all-round performance, outshining Naseem Shah’s impressive bowling display.

Naseem Shah’s early blows put Leicestershire Foxes in a commanding position in the game.

The Pakistan pacer continued to make an impact as he also claimed the crucial wicket of Kashif Ali. Naseem’s ability to take important wickets put his team in a favorable position, as they looked to restrict Rapids to a manageable total, courtesy of his figures of 2/32 in 4 overs.

However, Mir stepped up with a remarkable batting performance during the late stages of the innings. His cameo of 32 runs from just 15 balls – including two sixes and three fours – helped Rapids reach a competitive total of 183/7.

Mir’s party didn’t stop there, as he claimed figures of 2/33 with the ball where he got the wickets of Rishi Patel and Arron Lilley, to give Rapids a 33-run victory.

Zaman Khan’s effort in vain

Zaman Khan’s valiant effort with the ball went in vain as Northamptonshire secured a comfortable victory on Monday.

The pacer ended up with the figures of 2/17 from his three overs.

He started the show by removing opener, Ricardo Vasconcelos, for just 5 runs. He then returned in the 15th over and claimed the wicket of Josh Cobb, who had scored 23 runs.

However, Northamptonshire successfully chased down the target in 18 overs, ultimately resulting in Derbyshire’s defeat.
