Singer Abrarul Haq has taken a dig at journalists and supporters of PML-N after his London performance drew ire on social media.

“Congratulations to journalists and the people of N for another successful conspiracy. Paid,” he tweeted on Monday.

Abrar performed at the music show powered by tycoon Aleem Khan, who parted ways with PTI at Imran Khan in 2022, according to journalist Murtaza Ali Shah.

But his performance did not go well with the supporters of PTI as the performance cam just days after he quit the party. He got emotional when he announced his decision in Lahore.

Many social media users believed that the singer should not have performed at the event after parting ways with the party. They doubted the former PTI leader’s intention to leave the party, using terms like “actor” and “crocodile tears” for him.
