Govt appoints new DG NAB as Imran gets bail
1 min readThe federal government appointed Waqar Ahmed Chohan as the new director general of the National Accountability Bureau on Friday.
Chohan is a grade 20 officer of the police service who was serving in the Federal Investigation Agency.
The notification confirming the appointment has already been issued.
The appointment comes a few hours after Imran Khan was granted bail in the Al-Qadir trust case by the Islamabad High Court, in which he had been arrested on Tuesday.
