The National Accountability Bureau is expected to present Imran Khan in an accountability court on Wednesday.
The bureau will ask the court for a physical remand to be able to question Imran Khan in the Al Qadir trust case.
Sources said that Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir left the court on Tuesday evening, after the likelihood of Imran’s appearance dropping to zero.
Imran Khan has been medically examined by two separate boards at the National Accountability Bureau office in Rawalpindi.
The first board consisted of seven doctors from Polyclinic Hospital. Later another board consisting of five doctors from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences also examnined him.
Sources said that the medical teams declared him to be medically fit. However, Imran had a light fever and complained of pain in his leg.
