Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of the top bowlers in world cricket at the moment with many batters scared of facing the Pakistan pacer. However, despite his fame, the pacer still adopts exemplary police of keeping the wife happy.

The pacer tied the knot in February with Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha Afridi in a minimal nikkah according to the Afridi tribal traditions earlier in February.

While speaking to SAMAA TV, Shaheen said that he has said before that happy wife, happy life.

“I will take the Eidi first from Lala [Shahid Afridi],” he said. “I haven’t decided yet what to give as Eidi to Ansha. Whatever her demand is I would fulfill it. I’ve said it before that happy wife, happy life.”

Shahid Afridi intervened and said that he is thinking about forwarding the Eidi as it is whatever he gets from the father-in-law.

In response to a question about Shahid’s wedding, he said that he got married at a young age and has decided the same for Shaheen and Ansha.

“Should I tell them the month?” Shahid asked Shaheen before making the announcement.
