More than 80 employees of the Karachi Municipal Corporation have been dismissed for doing double government jobs, Aaj News reported Thursday.

The revelation emerged when KMC staff records were being computerised.

A committee will look into how this happened.

Staff associated with the World Bank’s Competitive and Livable City of Karachi (CLICK) Project are also on the list. The director of the CLICK Project is also on the list.

The Sindh Finance department will be dismissing them from service.
