Karachi police on Monday arrested a woman who robbed a patient dressed as a nurse in Civil hospital on Wednesday.

Police said that she stole their belongings after rendering patients unconscious with anesthesia injections. She would steal their mobile phones and other belongings.

The authorities captured her with the help of CCTV footage.

She told police she has done her Intermediate and lives in Korangi.

One robbery took place on March 17 in the cardiac ward and a victim lodged a complaint with the hospital administration.

Police seized the injections, mobile phones and three staff cards from the woman’s bag.
