Asif Munsif, a tehsil nazim belonging to PTI, was among 10 people killed after a vehicle came under heavy fire in Abbottabad on Monday.

Reports said that Munsif’s vehicle was attacked in a village named Langra, where the leader was visiting to attend a fateha khawani.

A group of 10 to 15 people was waiting to ambush the PTI leader and attacked him with heavy gunfire and rocket launchers. Munsif’s vehicle was burnt completely.

All people travelling in the vehicle were killed on the spot, including Munsif.

Locals said that the sound of gunfire was heard for a long time and even said that petrol had been thrown on the vehicle to set it on fire.

They also said that police anf fire brigade were called but they displayed their usual delays before turning up.
