Karachi girl goes missing outside DHA bungalow
The Sindh High Court heard on Monday the case of a girl who went missing from Defense Phase 4 in December 2022.
Ramsha went missing on December 17, 2022, from outside the bungalow where she worked, her mother Sughra said.
The court ordered the police to find the missing girl.
Police submitted a progress report to the court.
The investigating officer said that Ramsha had been in touch with an unknown person on the phone. He said that the police are acquiring the records of the suspicious number.
“My daughter used to work day and night in the bungalow,” her mother said.
Sughra said that the owner of the bungalow claimed that Ramsha had stolen Rs10,000 and run off.
The girl’s relatives and others have been looking for her.
The court adjourned the hearing till April 10.
Father and son disappear
The Sindh High Court heard a missing persons case of the disappearance of a man and his father.
A woman named Bashiran said that her husband, Pathan Zahrani, was disappeared four years ago.
“Now my son, Irfan Ali Zahrani, has also been picked up,” she said.
She said that she has been trying to find her husband for the past four years.
“Tell me what my husband and son’s fault is,” Bashiran asked the court.
The investigating officer said that have requested the missing persons’ call records. He said that now the family is claiming that law enforcement agencies have detained the men.
Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto instructed the Deputy Inspector General of investigations to take a personal interest in the case.
The court said that the investigation should be conducted by an SP-level officer.
The court ordered the Joint Investigation Report to be presented within six weeks. Police and law enforcement agencies were also instructed to submit progress reports at the next hearing.
