Here’s what you will have to pay for Hajj this year

The Economic Coordination Committee approved the number of people and the cost for Hajj in 2023 on Monday.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar took to Twitter himself to announce that this year’s Hajj policy has been finalised

The government will set aside $90 million for Hajj this year, most of which will go into the government scheme.

A total of 179,210 people will be able to perform Hajj this year, and the number will be split into government and private operators will split the number 50:50. Every scheme will also carry a 50% ‘kafalat’ quota.

The Hajj will cost Rs1,175,000 for the northern region and Rs1,165,000 for the southern region.

The Hajj will fall in the end of the month of June this year.
