Shahnawaz Dahani ruled out from PSL8: report
Multan Sultan have suffered a massive blow ahead of their second Pakistan Super League game against Quetta Gladiators, as their star pacer Shahnawaz Dahani was reportedly ruled out from the tournament.
The pacer was in action for Multan Sultans, who suffered a one-run defeat against defending champions Lahore Qalandars on Monday at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
Dahani fractured his right-hand finger during the game scan reports obtained by SAMAA TV.
He was hit on the finger, after a shot by Sikandar Raza in the 16th over, during yesterday’s match against Lahore Qalandars.
Sultans could replace the pacer with West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, according to sources.
The team management has already started the search for his replacement.
It is worth mentioning here that Dahani ended up with the figures of 1-40 from his four-over spell.
