Mohammad Hafeez joins Quetta Gladiators for PSL8

Former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has joined Quetta Gladiators as the replacement for injured Ahsan Ali for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight.

The tournament is scheduled to start on February 13 in Multan, while Quetta will start their campaign against Multan Sultans on the 15th of the month.

According to reports, batter Ahsan Ali has been ruled out of the tournament after suffering a knee injury.

As a replacement, the management has replaced him will the veteran all-rounder.

Hafeez, who retired from international cricket after the T20 World Cup 2021, has been a part of different teams in the T20 franchise competitions across the globe.

Earlier, taking to Twitter, Hafeez announced the end of his journey with the defending champions Lahore Qalandars:

“My journey comes to an end with @lahoreqalandars here. Thanks for the amazing last four years of learning and success.”
