KARACHI: Police has found evidence that the woman who was reported missing from the gynaecology ward of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) on Thursday, left the hospital voluntarily.

The police said that Hijab Fatima entered the hospital at 8:40am and left from a different door at 12:40pm.

“We have obtained footage that shows the woman leaving the ward,” police said.

She is eight months pregnant and came to the hospital for a check-up.

Police said an investigation about who the woman left with after exiting the ward is ongoing. Her husband claimed that she does not have a mobile phone or personal number.
