Peshawar High Court dismisses judge for embezzling Rs15 million
The judge failed was served multiple notices
The Peshawar High Court dismissed Additional Sessions Judge Syed Asghar Shah on charges of corruption.
The court statement said that the judge was accused of causing a loss of RS15 million to the treasurey. The statement also said that the accused have been given multiple notices but had failed to prove his innocence.
The court ordered that the judge be dismissed from service and ordered further proceedings to recover the embezzled money from him.
