Here are kits for PSL8 released so far
With just four days remaining in the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL8), franchises have now unveiled their official kits for the tournament.
Season eight will begin at Multan Cricket Stadium on February 13, where defending champions Lahore Qalandars will be in action against Multan Sultans.
The teams have already started their preparations, as Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Karachi Kings are busy practicing at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, while Lahore Qalandars are doing their drills at their facility in Lahore.
Sultans are scheduled to gather at the Multan Cricket Stadium on February 10.
As far as kits are concerned, once again franchises went with their crazy imaginations and created different designs for their home and away kits.
Let’s have a quick glimpse at them:
Quetta Gladiators
The kit was unveiled on social media showcasing Gladiators’ passion as they vowed to bounce back in the upcoming tournament.
“Presenting the Quetta Gladiators official jersey 👕 for HBLPSL season eight,” Gladiators wrote on official Twitter handle.
“The Gladiators are up for a fight as they will be wearing the armour this season to fight for the badge and to regain lost glory.”
Peshawar Zalmi
The franchise released an unveiling video starring Pakistan all-format captain Babar Azam.
“Inspired by the contemporary and progressive nature of the brand Peshawar Zalmi is, the home kit is an elegant combination of Tuscany yellow with a classic and complementing addition of black,” said the franchise in the press release.
“The bold yet minimalistic design is reflective of the contemporary design philosophy practiced by Peshawar Zalmi. The colour yellow is symbolic to the loyal and intensely passionate fanbase of Peshawar Zalmi – The Yellow Storm.”
Karachi Kings
The 2020 champions, Karachi Kings went with the simple unveiling where they just shared the picture of their star player Shoaib Malik.
Lahore Qalandars
Lahore Qalandars’ kit is designed by their captain Shaheen Shah Afridi. The home and away kits feature city maps both on the front and the back.
Islamabad United
The two-time PSL winners opted unique way to release the new kit.
The video was shared on Twitter with a caption: “By revealing our jersey on #ISLUMetaverse, we aren’t only showcasing our commitment to innovation and technology, but we’re also providing our fans with a unique and engaging experience.”
As for Multan Sultans, they have not given any timeline for the kit unveiling.
