Four security personnel martyred in cross-border firing from Iran
Four security personnel were martyred in a terrorist attack from across the Pakistan-Iran border in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the terrorists used Iranian soil to target a convoy of security forces patrolling along the border in Chukab Sector in Balochistan’s Panjgur district.
The ISPR said that the Iranian side had been asked to hunt down the terrorists.
Earlier in the day, security forces gunned down four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Hoshab in Balochistan’s Kech district.
The ISPR said that security forces were dropped by helicopter after terrorist hideouts were identified by surveillance.
