Interim chief selector Shahid Afridi has opened up about the possibility of continuing his role at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

His short time came to an end following the conclusion of the ODI series against New Zealand on Friday in Karachi.

Though, the Men in Green suffered a 2-1 defeat in the series, but Afridi was the center of the attention in the media for his brave selections in the series.

After the conclusion of the series, Afridi took to Twitter to thank fans and the board for giving him the opportunity and hoped that the fans were satisfied with his bold decisions.

It is worth mentioning here that Najam Sethi-led Management Committee had appointed former Pakistan captain as the interim chair of the selection committee for the home series against New Zealand. Other members of the panel are Abdul Razzaq and Rao Iftikhar Anjum, while Haroon Rashid (member Management Committee) was the Convener.
