Indian actor Pankaj Tripathi has shared the first look of his upcoming movie Main Atal Hoon, in which he plays the role of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The movie will hit the theatres in December 2023.

The decision to drop it on Sunday could not have been much better for the Bhanushali Studios Limited & Legend Studios as India celebrates the birth anniversary of the former prime minister today.

“I know that it is necessary for me to work on my personality with restraint in order to make ji’s personality come true on screen. I have firm faith that I will be able to do justice to my new role on the basis of enthusiasm and morale,” Tripathi said in a tweet. He also shared his different looks from the movie

The film is written and directed Ravi Jadhav, who shared a more than a minute video showing the Gangs of Wasseypur actor in different looks of the former Indian PM. It would be released in December 2023. The music for the film has been composed by Salim-Sulaiman with lyrics by Sameer, while Sonu Nigam has rendered vocals for the motion video announcement.

Main Atal Hoon presented by Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios, is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan & Kamlesh Bhanushali and co-produced by Zeeshan Ahmad and Shivv Sharma.

The Bachchhan Paandey actor announced in November that he would be playing the role of the former Indian premier in his next film.

Tripathi, who is from India’s Bihar, got famous after his performance in Masaan. Since then he has received praise from critics and movie goers in comedy and serious films.
