The senator was accompanied by Islamabad Police SP Rukhsar Mehdi and will be presented in a sessions court later today,
Originally arrested from his farmhose in Islamabad on November 27, Swati was moved to Quetta on December 2, as there were multiple cases registered against him in Balochistan.
After the Balochistan High Court quashed all ases against him, he was moved to Sindh last Friday.
It had been reported that Swati’s son and lawyer met him on Wednesday and that consultations to bring him back to Islamabad were underway.
This is Swati’s second arrest for criticising senior army officers. The first came in October, after which Swati had alleged custodial torture.
