Pakistan boxer Asif Hazara is set to compete against India’s Sumit Kumar in a flyweight bout this Friday in Melbourne.

Asif, who won the World Boxing League (WBL) Asia Pacific title, in September, will be in action on December 09 at 1:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Fan from both Pakistan and India living in Australia are excited about the fight, as they are expecting a close contest between the two boxers.

In a message Asif Hazara has asked for prayers and said that till date all successes have been possible only due to the love and cooperation of the People of Pakistan.

It is worth to mention her that, he defeated Shamal Ram Anuj of Fiji in a championship match held in Sydney, Australia back in September.

The decision was made on point basis after six rounds of the grappling fight. He dedicated his remarkable victory to the flood victims in the country.

It is pertinent to mention here that Hazara is a talented professional boxer. Previously, he had already claimed WBA Asia South Super Flyweight Title in June this year and the Asian Boxing Federation title last year.
