Do not take ‘chalia, supari’ to Turkiye, warns CAA
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) barred on Monday passengers traveling to Turkiye from carrying betel nuts (Chalia).
According to the CAA spokesperson, the passengers traveling to Turkiye were advised not to carry betel nuts as it is considered drugs over there and that there was a complete ban on carrying betel nuts to Turkiye.
He said carrying betel nuts to Turkiye will get passengers in deep trouble because laws in this context are very strict there.
The passengers have been advised to comply with the orders of CAA to save themselves from any problems in Turkiye as betel nuts are considered drugs over there and carrying it would be a violation of their laws.
