ISLAMABAD: Gold prices witnessed an increase in the local market on Monday with the price of per tola gold increasing by Rs1,300.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold settled at Rs147,700 per tola. The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs1,115 and settled at Rs126,629.

Meanwhile, the reverse trend is observed in the international gold market where the price of gold has decreased by $11 per ounce and was traded at $1,647.

The prices of silver remained stable in the market as one tola of silver was being traded for Rs1,580.
