Peshawar campus party goes horribly wrong
A video of a young woman rapping on stage to hooting and cheering at an educational institution in Peshawar has gone viral with condemnations pouring in on Twitter.
The video was captured at NCS, a private educational institution. However, what ensued as explanations were sought, revealed a different picture than what the Twitter clip appeared to show.

Minister for Higher Education Kamran Bangash sent a show-cause notice asking for an explanation from Khyber Medical College which the institution is affiliated with.

An explanatory video statement was released by the director of the private university. He said that a hunar mela was organized at NCS and was organized by a third-party event manager called 330. He said that they themselves did not know that the musical part would be included in this way. “It was a surprise to us,” he said. They recorded their protest with the organiser. The singer was a performer from Toronto, Canada. He apologised for what happened and that people’s sentiments were hurt. He said that nothing like this would ever be allowed to happen again. And if they did engage event managers they would scrutinise their plans.
Yes it is but I wonder why NCS University Peshawar’s director apologised on it. If the singer was a foreigner, would they force her to wear Burqa?
