Twelve major generals of the Pakistan Army have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant generals, the army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

Those promoted are:

1. Lieutenant General Inam Haider
2. Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain
3. Lieutenant General Nauman Zakaria
4. Lieutenant General Muhammad Zafar
5. Lieutenant General Ayman Bilal
6. Lieutenant General Ahsan Gulzar
7. Lieutenant General Aamir Raza
8. Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz
9. Lieutenant General Mohammad Munir
10. Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar
11. Lieutenant General Yousuf Jamal
12. Lieutenant General Kashif Nazir
