Imran Khan urges students to join PTI’s ‘Haqiqi Azadi’ movement

Says 60% of the federal cabinet's members are on bail

Previous governments have not provided Pakistan’s young people the latest education and have wasted 20 of their years in school, Imran Khan has said while addressing a public gathering at Government College University Lahore on Monday.

“The youth is always on the forefront of any revolution,” Imran Khan said and urged the students to participate in his party’s movement of ‘Haqiqi Azadi’.

He took a jibe at the coalition government, saying that 60 percent of the federal cabinet’s members were facing corruption cases, and that the country’s “biggest dacoits have now become its rulers”.

“My government was ousted through a conspiracy and cherry blossom was imposed on us,” the PTI chief said

The former premier said that corrupt rulers had been imposed on the country through the conspiracy.

“Donald Lu threatened a strong reaction if the PTI government was not removed. On March 7, Lu threatened Pakistani envoy Asad Majeed and on March 8, the PDM tabled a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly,” he added.

Imran Khan said that a three-time prime minister was living abroad and his sons did not use to call themselves Pakistani.

“Ishaq Dar fled Pakistan during the PML-N government and now he [Dar] is returning,” he said and added that Dar had fled because of NAB cases against him.

Speaking about the electronic voting machines (EVM), the PTI chief said that free and fair elections were only possible through them.

Lashing out at Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, Imran Khan said that the CEC should resign as he was the PML-N’s servant.

Later addressing a traders convention in Lahore, he commented on audio leaks from Prime Minister House, saying that they revealed that Maryam Nawaz’s son was ordering machines from India.

He said that his government had banned trade from India due to atrocities in Kashmir. The PTI chief claimed that there would be more audio recordings to come.
