DP World chief calls on COAS Bajwa, offers flood donation
**Dubai Port World Chairman Sheikh Ahmed Sultan Bin Sulayem called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations, military’s media wing, said that the “relief efforts in the wake of the devastating floods and all that can be done on the road to recovery for Pakistan was discussed” in the meeting.
Sheikh Sultan also offered $2.5 million in donation for the Army Relief Fund, reported Aaj TV.
DP World is an Emirati multinational logistics company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It specializes in cargo logistics, port terminal operations, maritime services and free trade zones.
The company also operate Karachi port and plans to set up an industrial park in Pakistan.
