LAHORE: Four cell phones that went missing from the office of the FIA Cyber Crime Circle in Lahore were recovered from the brother of an officer at the same agency.

The cell phones were case properties pertaining to four different inquiries at the cyber crime office in Lahore. They were stolen after breaking open the drawer of an officer.

The police traced the phones and found that they were in the use of the brother of one Danish Qamar, an FIA officer in Lahore.

The police have detained the FIA official and his brother and started an investigation.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether this was an opportunistic crime or an attempt to sabotage the investigations.
