Security guard injured in exchange of fire with robbers looting relief supplies in Jacobabad
A private guard of SHO was injured in the exchange of firing with the suspected robbers trying to loot a relief truck in Jacobabad.
Police sources said that a mini truck carrying relief supplies for flood victims was stopped within the limits of Moladad police station and was being looted when the police received the information about the incident.
SHO Abdul Qadir Chandio along with the police force reached the spot. During the exchange of fire with the robbers a private security guard of SHO Chandio was seriously injured and was shifted to Larkana hospital in critical condition.
On the other hand, the case of the incident has not been registered yet.
Several instances of looting have also been reported.
Earlier this month, a truck carrying relief supplies was attacked and looted on the Hyderabad road near Thatta.
