Gold price continues to decline after hitting record high
ISLAMABAD: Gold price continues to decline after touching a record high in the local market and decreased by Rs2,200 per tola on Monday.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold dropped to Rs157,400 per tola against its sale at Rs159,600 the previous day.
The fall in the prices of gold came after a rebound in the local currency.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $7 and was sold at $1774 against its sale at $1767, the association reported.
The price of 10 gram gold decreased by Rs1,886 to Rs134,945.
The prices of per tola and ten gram silver remained unchanged at Rs1,630 and Rs1,397.46 respectively.
