Ms Marvel has taken the Pakistani and Muslim audiences by storm ever since its debut at the beginning of June. While the series reached its conclusion last week, on July 13, the show’s cast is still feeling nostalgic over production days.

We are talking specifically about Mehwish Hayat’s recent post on Instagram. Hayat first appeared in the series in Episode five as the female protagonist’s grandmother, Aisha.

Recently, she took to Instagram to post a video of her fighting practice for the show. In the caption, she tagged Nimra Bucha, who appeared as Najma in the series, challenging her to a fight.

Hinting at the fight that took place in the show, Hayat wrote, “It’s payback time.”

In the show, Najma and Aisha had been enemies, with Najma overtaking her opponent in the second-last episode.

Hayat’s followers enjoyed the reference to the duel, as they too reminisced over the hit series. Some followers commended Aisha’s “bravery” while others wondered if the post hinted at something exciting coming up in the future.

Fans of the show had already been wild over Mehwish Hayat’s experience and her chemistry with Fawad Khan, while Bucha was equally commended for her powerful performance as Najma throughout the series.

Perhaps, it’s no surprise then that the cast is still mentally stuck in its Ms Marvel era!
