The government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs18.50 per litre after the fuel prices fell in the international market. Petrol will now be available at Rs230.24.

Gerry Rice, the IMF spokesperson, has confirmed that Pakistan and the global lender have reached a staff-level agreement. Pakistan will get around $1.17 billion as the first tranche of the amount under the package, he said.

PML-N’s Afnan Ullah, who moved the resolution, in a tweet said the people, who hatched conspiracy against Pakistan, should be punished under Article 6.
