Bollywood film director Karan Johar, who is famous for his romantic movies, has predicted that Shah Rukh Khan’s spy-thriller film titled ‘Pathaan’ was going to be a “tsunami” at the box office.

“Shah Rukh I think should really really only explode at the time of Pathaan,” he said in an interview with Indian media outlet Bollywood Hungama. “So, I know that he is kind of not doing much, not facing any media right now and I think that’s the best decision for him.

Pathaan, which is directed by Siddhart Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, would be released on January 25, 2023, in multiple languages. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham are also playing main roles in the film.

Karan, who is one of the close friends of the ‘Bollywood King’, said that Shah Rukh has kept away people out waiting and desiring. “The more they will wait, the more they will really really give back in terms of love.”

The Kuch Kuch Hota hai director described Shah Rukh as the “biggest star of India”.
