Govt announces five Eidul Adha holidays from July 08

Earlier, three Eid holiday was proposed

ISLAMABAD: The government has announced five Eid-ul-Azha holidays from July 08 to July 12.

“The prime minister has seen and is pleased to approve the Eidul Adha holidays from July 8 to 12, 2022 (Friday to Tuesday),” said the official handout issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on Sunday. A copy of the statement is available with Aaj News

Earlier, the Cabinet Division secretary had sent the summary regarding three Eid holidays to the prime minister.

Tauqeer Shah, who is the secretary to PM Shehbaz Sharif, had received the summary regarding the Eid holidays from Sunday to Tuesday.

The final notification of the Eid holidays was expected to be issued in a couple of days.
