MANCHESTER: The mercury didn’t go as high as 34 degrees Celsius in the Greater Manchester area in England’s northwest but hovered above the 30 degree mark. But the heatwave warning, as the country experienced record high temperatures, did’not deter revellers from stepping out an enjoying the sun.
