Rs25,000 minimum wage fixed at business establishments in Sindh
Govt has urged that objections and suggestions may be sent to the secretary concerned by June 24
KARACHI: The Sindh Minimum Wages Board has proposed an increase in minimum wage at Rs25,000 per month with effect from June 1 for adult unskilled and juvenile workers in industrial and commercial establishments in the province.
This had been notified in the Extra Ordinary Gazette of Sindh Government on June 9. It is, therefore, advised that the objections and suggestions from the concerned quarters, if any, may be sent to the Minimum Wages Board secretary within 14 days i.e. latest by June 24.
