DG ISPR cannot give decision on foreign conspiracy issue: Imran Khan
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Wednesday said that if Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar would decide whether a conspiracy was hatched or not to oust his government.
“US envoy Donald Lu in a meeting with the Pakistani envoy threatened to oust my government and the envoy confirmed the whole development,” the ousted premier said while answering questions on social media.
He said that the DG ISPR could not give a decision on the matter of foreign conspiracy. “It can be the opinion of DG ISPR,” he added.
Khan also asked who would decide whether there was interference or not.
The PTI chairman demanded the formation of the judicial commission and asked the Supreme Court to set up a judicial commission to conduct an inquiry on the matter.
The PTI chairman said no one can deny the facts of the ‘threat letter’.
A day earlier, the DG ISPR had categorically rejected the foreign conspiracy against the previous government.
Speaking on Dunya News program On The Front, he said that all three service chiefs were present in the National Security meetings and the participants were briefed that there was no evidence of foreign conspiracy.
