Advance tax on luxury vehicles increased: Ahsan Iqbal
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said that the federal government had proposed to increase advance tax on luxury vehicles under policy of shifting tax load to upper class.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the minister said that the ratio of this tax was also enhanced for non filers from 100 per cent to 200 per cent.
Iqbal said that the incumbent government was making efforts to provide relief to the lower class along with bringing the stability to the economy.
He said that the sales tax would be reduced in importing quality seeds, adding that the government was focusing on the uplift of agriculture sector.
