Security forces have killed seven terrorists in two separate Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in Bannu and North Waziristan districts, said the military’s media wing.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Intelligence Based Operations were conducted in Jani Khel area of Bannu district and Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan district on reported presence of terrorists.

During intense exchange of fire, seven terrorists were killed, it said adding that five terrorists were killed in Jani Khel while two terrorists in North Waziristan District.

The ISPR said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces, it added.
