KARACHI: The situation at Karachi's Numaish, the site of the PTI's protest in solidarity with the Islamabad long march, has spiralled out of control.

Police have resort to shelling and baton-charge peaceful PTI protesters as they move towards Numaish.

Several activists have been taken into custody while videos from the site show policemen manhandling women workers of the party.
