Shangla rally: PM Shehbaz vows to reduce flour prices in KP
Announces Rs2 billion grant for the province; continuation of development work on Basham Khawaja Khail Expressway
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked the KP chief minister to announce a reduction in prices of flour in line with the prospective strategy in Punjab and said the premier would do it at the Centre’s expense if the provincial government failed to do so.
He is addressing a public gathering in Shangla, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saturday.
In his first visit to the province, the prime minister announced
- Rs2 billion grant for the province
- free healthcare and medicines for all people
- establishment of a medical college in Shangla
PM Shehbaz promises:
- continuation of development work on Basham Khawaja Khail Expressway
- resolving all basic issues people face
- construction of grid station in Pooran within three months
- returning to the province after fulfilling today’s promises
