Aaj News caught up with Pakistani actor Syed Jibran about his new movie, Ghabrana Nahi Hai, releasing countrywide on Eidul Fitr.

Answering a question about his film’s title, which is generally associated with politics and Imran Khan, Jibran said his whole family supports PTI, however, his, wife likes Altaf Hussain a lot.

“She says, ‘If I ever vote I’ll vote for Altaf Hussain, and when I asked why she says because he’s too cute.” It is worth mentioning, however, that she is a British national so she is not eligible to vote in Pakistan.

Talking about the debut film he jokingly said, the team made a good film by mistake, “It’s a very good script, good director, good producers and a brilliant cast.” He said that it is a family film that you can watch with everyone without being uncomfortable, encouraging everyone to go watch it. “There are no bad jokes, no crass humour, just wholesome entertainment.”

“Stay happy, give Eidi, and also make sure to save some money so you can buy a ticket and watch the film,” he said.

“Eid is all about the family getting together, but this year it will be spent in cinemas because of the film release,” Jibran said he’ll take his kids to the cinema too since they also really want to watch the film.

The cast includes Syed Jibran alongside Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed. The film is set to release on Eidul Fitr. Jibran and other members of the cast will appear on Aaj Entertainment’s special Eid transmission “Khushiyon Bhari Eid” hosted by our very own Sidra Iqbal.
