Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to protest against the Chief Election Commissioner on April 26 outside Election Commission offices across the country.

The announcement was made during a meeting of the PTI political committee held in Islamabad on Sunday, in which the matters related to the Election Commission were reviewed.

PTI leader and former information minister Fawad Chaudhry, after the meeting of PTI political committee, said in a tweet that the Chief Election Commissioner had reached the extreme in terms of bias and dishonesty, adding that under the plan, the declaration of dissolution of Assembly seats of deviant members has not been made yet.

He said that PTI would protest on April 26 in front of Election Commission offices across the country against the attitude of the Chief Election Commissioner.

He said that instructions were being issued to all district organizations of PTI in this regard.
