Twitter schools Shireen Mazari after fake letter share

The shared document was apparently declared a fake at least 20 years ago

Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari is under fire on the micro blogging site, Twitter, for sharing a letter that was apparently declared a hoax about 20 years ago.

Late PPP leader Benazir Bhutto has apparently written the letter, thanking a member of the Galbraith family.

Mazari shared the document with a tweet talking about how during BB’s time US was asked to stop all aid and assistance to Pakistan because of our nuclear programme while alleging that “power grabbing Maulna are using external powers for their devious games”.

Many have called out the federal minister for not verifying facts before sharing them with the public.

While some have called out the party itself

While others doubt her word, as the document is clearly fake.

Many just keep telling her that she has shared a hoax

While some are wondering where the new PECA law for fake news stands on Mazari’s tweet

And others tried to explain how it was fake

While others just hoped common sense would prevail

Which did prevail and Mazari has since deleted the tweet
