Paris Hilton marries Carter Reum in “fairy tale wedding”
American singer and socialite Paris Hilton married author and entrepreneur Carter Reum in a star-studded ceremony in LA on Thursday. The couple dated for two years and got engaged nine months ago.
“When you find your soulmate, you don't just know it. You feel it," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever. There's no one I'd rather spend forever with.”
In an episode of the podcast This is Paris, Reum had said on Thursday that, “It is definitely going to be your fairy tale wedding.” Speaking to Hilton he also said, “That first kiss and that first hug and as we always say, the electric bolts that are going to shoot between us—I'm going to think about all those memories.”
Talking about her wedding on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in August, the actress said that she was “nervous” for the big day, especially for the first dance. “I did dancing lessons twice. It’s just hard,” she said.
Hilton also revealed that her wedding is going to be a three-day affair, and she’s going to change at least 10 outfits. “We have a lot happening, lots of dresses,” she said.
The bride posted a picture of her beautiful wedding dress on her Instagram account with the caption, “My forever begins today…”
As soon as the news about the hotel-heiress’s wedding broke the internet, messages of love and blessings started pouring in.
Hilton has documented her wedding for a series that’ll air on Peacock TV.
