Afghan athlete wins gold medal in Pakistan’s G-1 Taekwondo Championship
Afghan athlete Ghulam Murtaza Saleh won a taekwondo gold medal after six victories in Pakistan’s G-1 Taekwondo Championship 2021.
Pakistan’s taekwondo federation hosted this championship in Islamabad city.
After his second victory Saleh continued with injuries to his leg and succeeded in winning the top prize.
Meanwhile, considering the gender combination of teams, Kazakhstan team became the first, and due to lack of female athletes Afghanistan became in forth position.
Afghanistan national Taekwondo team wining a gold, and three silver medals, plus scoring 17 got the championship title in the international G1 Taekwondo Championship in Pakistan.
The Pakistan’s G-1 Taekwondo championship was attended by representatives from 15 countries with a total of 422 athletes.
